2021 National & County Competitions

We have now received the annual invitation for members to enter the National & County Competitions (as run by Bowls Cornwall) for the 2021 season. To note that you must intend to still be a member of Mylor Bridge BC on May 1st to enter these competitions via our club entry form.

The competitions are broadly in line with previous seasons, but Bowls Cornwall have introduced individual forms that members are required to complete and sign / return to myself with required payments, I am now required to keep these forms for the year as evidence of agreement to the publishing of your contact information within the yellow county handbooks. BC have confirmed that if the competitions are unable to proceed then a full refund will again be made, some of the formats of the competitions may have to be adjusted next year to meet with any Covid precautions that may still be in place.

Required forms and information are available by clicking here (combined into one file for convenience.  I need the entry forms returned by 24th October at the latest.  I appreciate that contact with members is likely to be very infrequent during the winter months, so you may either send them to my home address as below, or deposit them inside the club house entrance door and let me know they are in that location.

For those that are new to the game, you may wish to discuss with one of the more experienced bowlers the process of these competitions before deciding whether to enter any of these.
