Captain’s Day – 2018

The weather, once again, prevented either sex from proving their superiority on the bowling green.  The Ladies v Gents match, already cancelled once, could not go ahead, due to torrential rain all day.

Well done, however, to just about everyone turning out, in playing kit, to participate in a ‘table-top quiz’, hastily arranged to pass a couple of hours whilst waiting for tea.

Nothing to report therefore, other than to say that a good time was had by all, even if it wasn’t the sort of time originally envisaged.
