To function effectively the club needs the help of members to assist on a voluntary basis with a variety of elements.  Unfortunately these items are increasingly falling onto just a handful of members and we do need more helpers to ensure the club remains viable into the future.

Various County events are held at the club during the season and these require a presence in the kitchen, mostly just to make Tea/Coffee and keep the facility clean & tidy during and after use, with also a minor amount of sandwich making for the lunch periods of these events. On the Catering section of the notice boards are lists of when these events are and we ask for more volunteers to give a couple of hours of their time at one of these events to assist, if you can help please see the notice board section and insert your name in an empty space where you are available.

It would also be appreciated if one or two of the players in a team (other than the ones that have been doing this for every game) could also attend half an hour in advance of the fixture to place out the equipment needed for the game, or even a member who is not playing on that date if available.

For the general ongoing maintenance of the club and it’s grounds, we have a work party on Tuesday mornings from 09:00 until around 11:30. If you can assist in any way for this period if would be appreciated and beneficial to the club which, has a high reputation through our county section for the general appearance and upkeep of the property.  Similarly, if you have some spare time during other days, the Ladies who are trying to maintain a well planted and bright appearance to the borders would appreciate any help for tending these areas.
