Ladies forge ahead!
An excellent win for our Ladies Captains Shield team (Sue Walker, Elaine Beckton, Lyn Jenkin and captain, Sue Kelly) against a strong looking Truro team, containing three county badged players.
After a slow start our ladies found their rhythm and went ahead after five ends, from which they built and maintained a useful lead, finishing 24-17 victors.
Newquay Trenance await in the semi-final on 21st July. Here’s hoping for a repeat performance and a much deserved place in the Group 4 final.
