Ladies Pairs – another great day (images)

The Ladies Drawn Pairs, held on 28th August, provided a great mix of high-class bowling, good weather and a hearty, home-made lunch.

Sixteen ladies tool part, with a league system determining who would play who in the final stages.  The final match was Sue Porritt and Judy Chinn against Margaret Green and Elaine Beckton.  This went down to the wire with Margaret and Elaine just edging it on the last end.

Before then, a ‘bring-a-plate’ lunch was enjoyed, with a range of culinary delights to satisfy the most discerning diner.

Thanks to Sue W, who did a great job as usual, organising the event and keeping the participants in line.

You can see by the pictures below that lunch is a serious business at Mylor, and not something to be taken lightly.
