Falmouth Cup Final

The final of the Falmouth Cup for carpet bowls, was held today in Famouth (surprisingly!).  Mylor had played their way to the final through steady and consistent bowling throughout the season and now had to face old rivals, Mawnan.   The game was tight as predicted, and the teams could’t be separated, so an extra end was required, in which Mylor  just pipped their opponents, winning by two shots.

Congratulations to the whole team, including Dave Bevan, who couldn’t get back from Oz to play in the final, but was ably supported by Christine Robinson, who kindly stepped in to fill the breach
