RIP David Peacock

It is with much sadness that we announce the passing of long-term member, David Peacock.

David was a great supporter of the club and in latter years played mainly Strollers and friendly matches, always bringing a touch of the unexpected to the proceedings!

David had a sharp, acerbic wit and a wry smile to accompany it.  He was also a caring and thoughtful person who held strong views about social injustice, inequality and greed; in short and in his own words, he was ‘one of the good guys’.

He will be greatly missed and our thoughts go out to Janet and all of her family at what is, naturally, a difficult time.
