Volunteer Working Party

ALL members,

We have a first-class facility and a wonderful green, but it doesn’t look after itself.   Every Tuesday morning a loyal team of volunteers carry out the essential tasks required to keep everything running smoothly.

Unfortunately the numbers who are turning up has dwindled alarmingly, meaning that many of the minor tasks are not being done at all.

As is the case in most clubs, virtually all the work is carried out by a tiny percentage of members.  This is not sustainable and it is essential that more members volunteer to help and support their club.  Just turn up from around 9am on any Tuesday.  There’s even a tea break, which is a good way to catch up on latest club ‘gossip’.

If you can’t make Tuesdays but would still like to help, Jeff Askew will advise on jobs that can be carried out at other times.
