Booking System Update

The Booking System will change to the outdoor green in April, with first booking being available from April 13th.  The green opening is the 12th, which is President’s Day.

There are a few changes from previous seasons, summarised as follows:

The time-slots have changed and are now at: 10 am (1 hour slot), 11 am, 1 pm, 3 pm, 5 pm.   The reason for this is because most afternoon matches commence at 1.30 or 2.00 and evening matches at around 6.00.  To allow time for setting up/etc. the preceding time slot was also reserved, meaning the green was unavailable for booking for far longer than necessary.  The adjustment still provides set up and prep time, but frees up a considerable amount of new bookable space.  Please note that the first (10 am) time is only for 1 hour, as there is no play before 10. If a longer period is required from this time, you can book two consecutive slots (subject to availability).

There is now an option to book multiple rinks in a single booking. This is set at a limit of three rinks, which provides the capacity for team practice training, multiple guests, or social (non-official) matches.  You do not book the green for official club matches and fixtures.  If the latter are correctly entered on the main fixture list, the required rinks will be reserved and will be removed from the availability calendar.

If you have booked the green but cannot fulfil it, you must cancel the booking.  There is now a simple process for cancelling a booking.  You just open the email you received on confirmation and click the cancellation link.  This will emove the booking from your list and will return it to the main pool of slots.
