Captain’s Day 2025 – who cares about the weather!

Sunday 14th September was Captain’s Day, the traditional season ending event.

We all knew what to expect, weather wise, but that didn’t stop some 50 members and guests from turning up and enjoying an afternoon of presentations, thermo-nuclrear pasties (thank you Pips), and just having a chat with friends old and new.

A few hardy souls took to a hastily squeejeed green  only to be met with more showers!

The club has seven new octagenerian members, five of whom collected their 80 years young county badges.

Pic’s below showing all the club competition winners (and most of the runners-up), as well as a few shots of members and special guests enjoying the convivial atmosphere.
