Ladies Follow The Men Home

Folloing on from the success of the men’s team, in reaching the final of the Captain’s Shield, our ‘Female Fab Four (Sue Walker, Elaine Beckton, Lyn Jenkin and Sue Kelly), today played the semi final of the Ladies Captain’s Shield against Trenance at Chacewater. It was a tough game but they held their nerve and ran out deserving winners. The Mylor team had a number of  supporters urging them on, which really does make a difference.

We hope, therefore, that even more will come to the final, scheduled for 29th July, although the venue and time will not be confirmed until a  day or so before te match.  Hopefully, wherever and whenever, we’ll see our ladies lift anothe piece of silverware.

The men’s fnal is being played at (you guessed it!) Chacewater on 3rd August, again at 6pm.
