Club Competitions-first results of 2026

Two of our four ‘on the day’ competitions were played recently.

The men’s drawn pairs was played, almost to completion, and congratulations to Simon Vincer and Ron Weatherhead, who will battle it out with Tony Hill and Dave Bevan on finals weekend.  This promises to be a fascinating match, with the variation of playing styles on show.

In the ladies 2-wood, which completes on the same day, a closely fought final saw Lin Jenkin score an impressive victory against Sue Kelly.  Lin now goes on to represent Mylor in the Edie Ferry tournament, being held at Trenance on 27th July.  Go and support if you can; it really makes a difference.
