Various Notices from Liz Maunder

We have got used to putting notices and information online but over the next month there will be several notices displayed on the Club noticeboard.

The first is the County Luncheon which will be held at  Sandy Lodge in Newquay on 4th October. I need to get numbers and menu choices in by 15th September so if you are interested, please complete the form on the ladies’ section of the noticeboard. (The Group 4 luncheon is not until November).  Please note that the men’s luncheon is being organised separately. A notice will be posted and confirmation required by 22nd September.

Although not yet available, the forms to enter National and County competitions should be received soon. As soon as we’ve got them they will be put on the board. All the details of the competitions can be found at the front of the yellow County handbook.

The club will be holding the AGM sometime in October. At this meeting, officers and committee members are elected. Nomination forms for these posts are already displayed at the club. As many are aware, this is my last year as Ladies’ Secretary so we will need to fill this post along with several other posts which will need to be filled.

Soon after the AGM, the Ladies’ meeting will take place. The remaining non Executive posts are elected at this meeting. This includes the post of Vice Captain and two selectors.
