2026 Club Competitions – updated draw and results. Last update: 7th May 2026
Qualifying rounds are required where the number of entries excceds the limit for the first round proper. They do not form part of the knock-out sequence, but determine who goes into the first round proper, which is pre-drawn.

To view a specific competition, go to page number as indicated in guide below. Page selection may vary according to your PDF reader .
page 1: 3 sets of 7 – Singles with 4 bowls each. Three sets of 7 ends each. Player with highest score after 7 ends, wins the set. Best of three sets wins the match. Tied sets are halved except deciding set, when an extra end will decide winner.
page 2: 3-2-1 – Singles match with 3 bowls each. Fiirst player to reach 65 shots is the winner. 6 shots available at each end. Nearest jack-3 shots, 2nd -2 shots, 3rd-1 shot. If both players reach 65 shots on the same end, the player with shot wood is winner.
page 3: Men’s Singles – Singles match with 4 bowls each. The winner is the first player to reach 21 shots
page 4: Men’s Handicap – Singles match with 4 bowls each. The winner is the first player to reach a target score. Target score for lower handicapped player is 21. For higher handicapped player it is 21 plus the handicap difference
page 5: Ladies Singles – Singles match with 4 bowls each. The winner is the first player to reach 21 shots
page 6: Ladies Handicap – Singles match with 4 bowls each. The winner is the first player to reach a target score.
Target score for lower handicapped player is 21. For higher handicapped player it is 21 plus the handicap difference
page 7: Mixed Singles – Singles match with 4 bowls each. The winner is the first player to reach 21 shots.
page 8: Mixed Pairs – Pairs match with 4 bowls each. The winner is the team with the highest score after 21 ends.
In the event of a tie, an extra end will be played to decide the winner.
The first named player, the Challenger, in the draw for each match, is responsible for contacting the opponent and arranging the match. If a singles match, a marker is also required.
For all preliminary matches (up to finals days), club shirts and greys should be worn (applies to markers also).
