Bowls Cornwall Propositions

Each year Bowls Cornwall invite members to submit propositions (proposals to modify or create Bowls Cornwall rules) to be considered at the AGM. To do this, you need to fill in a form which I can supply, and which must be countersigned by two of the principal officers (President, Chairman, Secretary and Treasurer), then discussed and agreed by the Club Members (the proposition is effectively put forward by the Club)

I, as Secretary, then have to submit the agreed, completed form to Bowls Cornwall by 31st July!  So you need to be quick!

This process happens every year and is an important opportunity to modify the rules of your local governing body. So if anyone wishes to prepare a Proposition, and doesn’t feel there is time to do this, it’s always worth remembering that you can go through the process with the view of submission next year.
