Recent Successes

A couple of recent achievements, worthy of special mention.

In the County Group 4, mixed pairs semi-final, Sue Walker and Jeff Askew had an exciting victory against a pairing from Chacewater, thanks to a wonder wood from Jeff with the last bowl of the match!

They now go on to play in the county final at the end of July.  Watch out for details of their opponents and venue.

Elsewhere, in the Foundation Pairs, our two Sues duo (Walker and Kelly), played a pair from Stenalees at Trenance, and enjoyed a solid victory, which puts them into the last 16 and one game away from an appearance at Leamington in the quarter finals and, we hope, beyond.

To get there, they need to win, in uncharted territory, against a pair from Glastonbury.  Again, look out for further details.
