Markers Required
On the weekend of 23-24th May the Club will be hosting the Men’sNational 4 Wood Singles preliminary rounds. On each day, as the host Club, we are asked to provide six Markers for the first round. Losing competitors mark the later rounds.
It’s well worth coming along to watch the play as many of the best local players will be taking part. If you are not playing, it’s a great opportunity to watch the play from close up as a Marker.
We need to provide six Markers so there is plenty of opportunity. There are few better ways to improve your own understanding of the tactics of the game. So can you let me know if you are available on either or both days to provide this essential service.
Most of the Ladies will be missing as it is also the Ladies National 4 wood singles on that weekend, so most are not available. Volunteers will only need to mark one game on each day. So please, if you can help, let David Woodman know.
