Ladies Drawn Pairs – Result (images)

Congratulations to Sue Kelly and Sarah Curnow, for winning the Carpet Bowls Drawn Pairs.

At the end of a high quality ‘Round Robin’ competition, Sue and Sarah put in a strong performance to defeat runners-up Elaine and Linda.

Again, the contest attracted a large number of enthusiastic spectators, some of whom can be seen, in the accompanying picture, sharing a pasty outside, whilst the ladies enjoyed a convivial lunch, to which they all contributed by bringing sharing plates.  I bet that fly-on-the-wall can tell a tale or two!
